More and more publishers are moving with the times and provide their editorial content on mobile devices such as a tablet. This has become the so-called “Tablet journalism”. During a special seminar, Neofonie Mobile presents the most important aspects, which need to be considered.
A new concept arises at tablet journalism, regardless of the former print medium. It orientates consistently at the tablet and the reader, with new forms of representation and specific content. In particular, in terms of technology, design, usability and speed, there are several things to consider. In a multi-day seminar Nina Menssen of Neofonie Mobile GmbH provides practical tips, presents examples and introduces a checklist with the most important aspects, which the publishers “going mobile” should consider in order to succeed.
The seminar is organized by the Academy of the Bavarian press in Munich (Akademie der bayerischen Presse) and will be held from 6th – 8th for August 2014. It is addressed to editors of daily newspapers, magazines and online media.
