Review: 1. Hybrid Cordova Network meetup
16. April 2015
The 1. Hybrid Cordova Network meetup, sponsored by the Neofonie Mobile, took place on April 9th. The event has been organized by David Hohl, a project manager of Neofonie Mobile. It is planned to realize an app based on cordova.
The focus of the meetup group was a communicative exchange of experiences. It is planned to realize an app based on cordova, which should be launched on the following platforms – IOS, Android, Windows, Firefox, Ubuntu, Blackberry and the Browser.
At the first meeting many experiences about cordova and hybrid development were presented. After a detailed round of presentations from the current 24-members, possible hybrid projects were put forward by project managers, designers, developers and QA-engineers. After a short period of brainstorming, 12 app ideas were presented. 3 of those app ideas have been selected to be in in the final round.
In the next meetup it will be decided which app should be developed till the end of 2015. For this purpose, sponsors for venues, test equipment and software licenses are being actively looked for.
